Protesting

This evening there is another protest by Farmers For Action at Portbury  and we have sent two tractors to be part of it. It is a VERY difficult time for the dairy industry as it simply cannot continue to proveide fresh milk at below cost. It is a very complex issue but if the supermarkets  were at least paying what it costs to produce the milk  this would help. 

Most dairy farmers have cut costs to the bone and most farmers wives have full time jobs to help prop up the farm. As a nation we need to be as self sufficent as possible when it comes to producing our food and to loose the dairy industry would not be good for any of us.

I dont know how much good the protests will do but at least they are highlighting the problem and making the supermarkets uncomfortable. 

It could be a late night for them!

A lazy day for me! Yes another one. It really the calm before the storm so to speak as there is much to do this week. 

Mr Tbay was on the Stag do yesterday so a rather lazy day for him too!  Bed early for him!!
