My second home!

Today was the first shift for a few weeks back at Earls Colne Airfield (been busy doing airshows!). The picture is a throw back to last year and shows the Breitling Wingwalkers flying at the airfield. We went up in the Yak to get some air-to-air photos for the 'guest' wingwalkers.
It was fun to be back and watch people's progress as they are learning to fly ... a student passed their skills test yesterday and gained their own private pilot's licence and today a student flew their first solo ... always a special moment.
We heard the Vulcan was nearby (but never managed to see it) and almost had a fly-by from a friendly Harvard (but we had students in our circuit!). One group of 'fliers' that were not welcome was the huge number of wasps - grrr!!
All in all a good day and I was pleased to be back.
