Champion!!!

This week it was Fraser's turn to come out on top, The Aulds Trophy was held today at Gourock Park Bowling Club, Fraser was the defending champion from last year and he was determined he was going to retain his title.

Both he and Mimi won their respective sections to progress to the quarter finals, Mimi was the more consistent of the two again today but when the pressure mounted Fraser just upped his game with both progressing to the semi finals.  The other two semi finalist funnily enough were also twins and the draw pitted older twin against older twin and younger against younger.  Mimi played very well but fell a single shot short losing 6-5 her opponent Jack fluking a shot at the last end, she was upset to lose to a fluke as she was the better bowler.  Fraser again was a little erratic but when it came to the business end he  calmly drew three shots at the last end just like he was practicing back home not phased by the big crowed enjoying the sun and some wonderful bowling.

Fraser blew Jack away in the final winning 9 - 0 and not having to play the full 8 ends, the game finishing at the conclusion of the sixth end.

I could not be prouder of both Fraser and Mimi dignified in victory and gracious to their vanquished opponents, a credit to themselves and our little club... very proud dad
