4 years old

Becky left this morning to start her journey home.  She got a taxi to the station.  She was travelling to Derby and her husband Mike was picking her up from there.  Mike has been staying with his parents in Loughborough over the weekend and Becky was going to spend a few hours there before she and Mike drove back home to London.

Its been lovely having Becky to stay and it won't be long till I see her again - she and Mike are coming up for Bank Holiday weekend.

Neil is on a weeks holiday this week but he didn't have any plans so he told his work that if they were short of staff then he would go in and do a shift.  He got a call this morning to say someone was off sick and could he go in.  So he quickly got ready and set off to open up the shop.  He was due to finish at 6pm. He went back to his own place this evening.

So I have just had a quiet day by myself.  Did two loads of washing - mostly bedding and towels.  Weather was fine so it was a good drying day.  My  toe is much better.  Still sore but not as painful as it was yesterday.

Today is Lily's 4th birthday so she is my blip for today.
