The Crest

Thankfully, today was a grey day, a good one for leaving the holidays behind and heading home. Just before leaving a man in a lorry arrived to start pumping out the septic tank, which was nice. Today's extra would be the view of the south downs from the bedroom window, if they were indeed visible.

The return journey was almost without delay, only a small one at Dartford and as a result, we were home by lunchtime. Without time for shopping, we dined at a local Italian restaurant ... which was nice.
