Bright side, dark side.

It's June, it's howling a gale, it's raining, the temperature is hovering around 7 celsius and the lights / heating have been on for most of the day. Really would like to meet the smart cookie that coined the term "global warming"!

Apparently I've taken one like this before, but I can't remember if I posted it. I probably did. When the skies are a uniform bright grey outside, the light coming in the window is great for taking this kind of portrait. Open lens, high(ish) ISO, spot metering just below the eye on the bright side, lock exposure and go.

Looking at the forecast there may be many more of these shots by the end of the "summer". Brrr.
