Curry in Leith

Friend R has gone back to Kent and friend A has arrived to share my son's flat in Edinburgh for a week.  Today we visited Leith, had lunch at V Deep, the curry cafe of Hardeep SK a comedian chef that some of you may have seen recently on the One Show. Then we strolled round the harbour.  In the afternoon we visited the Book Festival and listened to a talk by Joanne Harris of Chocolat fame. I snoozed though most of it - the effect of a delicious curry and a pint of Vindabeer - thats IPA with essence of cardamon
