My neighbour's apples
Our neighbour's ancient apple tree shades our yard. The apples are small and sour and are a pain to clean up I the fall. But the blossoms are beautiful and we have seen a lot of birds and raccoons and squirrels enjoying the tree.
This year we collected the least wormy, angry and waspy apples to make applesauce.
As I sit here I hear the thuds of more apples falling. Time to harvest them!
Maybe cider next year?
