Eagle Inn, Salford

One of a handful of proper Manchester Pubs (although this one is in Salford) to have survived unchanged and prospered over the last 30 odd years as the city centre has changed.

I don't think I have had a pint of Holts bitter here for nearly 40 years and so my birthday treat today (after a 21 mile run this morning) was to go back and confirm the bitter is still as good as it always was - and it is.
