Back to "school"

Stephen's College, in Columbia, Missouri is an all women's college with pet dormitories. I love to watch the students walk around campus with their pooches, large and small, in tow. Classes begin tomorrow; today was busy with last-minute move-ins.

For anyone who does not live stateside, college towns have a unique atmosphere. Columbia, MO is one of the best. There is a cute little main street, with one-of-a-kind shops. And both the main street, aptly named Broadway, and the side streets off Broadway, have a wonderful selection of locally owned restaurants.

I'll miss Columbia, and Stephen's College, when my daughter graduates.
