Kuirau Park

Today just felt so spring like, temperatures climbing and the sun shining. Had quite a few bits and pieces to do in town, but it was a pleasure meandering around with no time constraints.

Planned to shoot the daffodils in Kuirau Park for my blip, but they didn't really inspire me so wandered around the thermal areas to see what looked interesting. Ended up taking five vertical shots of these pools, hand held, as I didn't have my wider lens with me. Used Lightroom's new merge to panorama. The result was such an amazing seamless merge.
Rather liked some of the reflections of the blue sky in the mud.

Added the daffs as my extra.
