A Tunnel by the Beach

Early flight to Alderney today on a very small plane! I was sitting right behind the pilot and could see everything he did... actually looked quite easy as he had an iPad like screen and it looked like he was pressing lots of different apps! But I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that...

The hotel is lovely, right on the beach. We went on a train ride this afternoon (it's the only train in Channel Islands and the carriages are an old Northern Line tube train?! Kids loved it.

As to be expected there's lots of concrete bunkers, towers, etc, that the Germans built during their occupancy in WW2. They literally took over everything with all the residents having to leave. This is one such tunnel from that era that James found and loved, as it was right on the beach.
