Dartmoor

I was taken to a "new" part of the moor today by MyDartmoorWalks. From Lydford we went up Great Nodden and then followed the old peat cutters road around the back of Great Links Tor to the aptly named "Bleak House"- what was once the manager's house, but now a ruin. Then up to Higer Dunna Goat, where we met a friendly Dartmoor pony allowing me to take this picture, then on to High Links which afforded tremendous 360 degree views across to Fur Tor ( the queen of Tors) and Yes Tor and around to the sea at Plymouth Sound. We then descended to the car via Bray Tor and the stepping stones across the river Lyd. A lovely walk. Thank you, Michael!
