Stranger than Fiction

It was going to be a rather uneventful day. Mrs B and I popped out mid morning to visit the newly refurbished Morningside Library. This was my first visit, and my first impression was it was a wee bit louder than I remember other libraries. It was about this time that I noticed a man playing a piano and a two people singing. We had stumbled upon a performance of Love at the Library, part of the Edinburgh International Festival. I've never listen to much opera, but this struck me as beautifully simple, it was magical. A great surprise. A fantastic performance. Loved it. Pity I only had my phone to take a quick blip.
