A homespun Cinderella story

Today I washed all my windows (which took me eight hours), cleaned all the floors (which took considerably less) and repotted some plants that had outgrown their previous homes.
I really am my own evil stepmother.
The Fairy Godmother hasn't shown up yet, but if she does, I hope she'll bring a nice big cup of tea instead of a pretty dress and glass slippers.
