Open Mouthed

I took a stroll along the pier and climbed down to watch the fishermen.  I did this on a previous visit and find it fascinating: I have never fished in my life.

It was morning, and the guy catching these was drinking ale and having a mackerel whale of a time.  He was catching on every cast, most of the time with two each time he reeled in.  It was the way he took out the hook, pushed his finger into the mouth and pulled the head back with a sharp snap that really got me - it left them with a shocked expression that summed up their experience nicely.

They were twitching when I took this, made me jump!
