Light

I spend a lovely morning with my lovely. We ate donuts and wandered around the Kalamazoo Nature Center looking at frogs, chipmunks, squirrels and whatever else crossed our path - including a mass swarming of bees and baby swallows. It was so much fun that I could use a nap :)
As an early birthday present (T minus 5!) we became members of the center - that way we can go as often as we want, though we'll still need to wear the bright green paper bracelets. Ah. Oh well.

Here's the Beloved debating if he wants to stay in the nice cool shady tunnel and let me go on into the heat without him :)

I'm going to make some lunch, shower and then we're off for a pre-birthday beer. Or 2.
