Wild Bill

"Meet Bill, Wild Bill. Shakespeare, drunkard, imposter, literary terrorist, as he descends into madness, mentally torn apart by the characters and plays that he created."

One of a shedload of one-man shows on at the Fringe, and according to the enthusiastic one man (performer, director, writer, sound man, lighting man, scenery painter - and enthusiastic leaflet distributor) that figure is the total for both performer and audience. Or at least, it was for most of last week. Good nights have seen the audiences soar to five.

There's a lot of leaflet thrusting going on. Best pitch so far has been (from a very earnest looking young woman) "Would you like to see some improvised physical theatre about memory loss?" Erm....no. But thank you for asking.
