The Etape de Tour. A gruelling 140 km ride through the Alps, a few days before the pros do it as a stage of the Tour de France. The 36 degree heat was unforgiving, and I was only a spectator. Only 15,000 people take part. Only 406 women completed the ride. Charlotte was one of them. I'm very proud.
