Mr Plover on watch duty

He is on watch! This is his 5th week and we human are sick of being dived at each time Mrs Plover calls him from afield that we human are remotely approaching her, her space, her eggs and how her chicks.

On a sad note, there are only 2 plovertits (plover chicks - I made this up) instead of 3 when it hatched last week. From my observation, Plovers are good at distracting any approaching predators, but can't say the chicks are good at listening to their parent's call to safety. I hope the remainder two made it adult hood.
