No-show

It seemed too good to be true: Joan Armatrading playing at a tiny venue at North Berwick's Fringe By The Sea festival. . 

Turns out it was too good to be true, as she cancelled the show this morning.  Annoyingly, this announcement came after a flurry of "it's on - it's off - it may be on - we'll let you know - it's definitely on again" messages from the organisers. 

The badge is from when I last went to see her - which appears to be 34 years ago.  That can't be right, surely. Joanne, who I went to that gig with and would have been coming tonight, sent photographic proof that she can still fit into the 1981 tour T-shirt she bought. 

Pretty impressive.  But then, the badge still fits perfectly too.
