New village square

Did some grocery shopping after work and picked up P. from the train station where we live.

They've been building our new village square for two years now and the opening festivities finally will take place next weekend. The centre of the small village starts feeling differently. Parking spaces are gone and the space belongs to the pedestrians again. Spacious, wonderful natural stones from Graubünden, a couple of trees, a long staircase / tribune (like the one in Rome ;) water fountain and even a small coffee pavilion.

Otherwise a real mono Monday, a bit on the dull side in all aspects.
