Looks lovely doesn't it? And so it was, for about 10 minutes! This is the view from the Friend's Meeting House in Airton. I had dropped by to see a friend who is participating in the North Yorkshire Open Studios. I will show you some of Karen's work soon, as she is working on a commission for us. We discovered a pop-up cafe with homemade cakes, exotic teas (osomanthus flower opening before our eyes in a glass teapot) and a guitarist playing beautiful pieces by Bach. So civilised!
We then went over to Grassington to see the weird and wonderful work of Carine Brosse.

Then home in the pouring rain. But hey, the cow parsley is in full bloom and the hills are emerald green. Whatever the weather, get outside!!
