arty kindly picked us up and took us over to clachtoll today to see the end of the sandcastle competition. there were some ace entries, but I think the mermaid won. it was pretty freezing in clachtoll which is a bit less sheltered but the beach was great and the headland (in the photo) made for a great walk. lots of food, drink and bowls later at the reid's and blair's caravans - great fun. then home to ella and quiet achmelvich.
