New/old fire place

When we viewed the house my only dislike was the 1970s style fireplace it just wasn't my cup of tea.

So we took away the electric pretend log fire and got out a chimney sweep last week to ok it all.

P set to ripping down the stones one day and then started e bay shopping.

We both fell in love with this old reclaimed art nouveau Victorian fireplace made of cast iron.

It arrived this morning and it's just sitting waiting for us to sort out a hearth and a mantel piece.

Roo and the chis can't wait till winter!!!
