150 Years Old.
It was like a scene from the Railway Children at the Muir Station this afternoon. People gathered to celebrate 150 years of the railway in Muir of Ord. Over 200 children boarded a special train for a trip to Inverness and back. Later a commemorative plague was unveiled by the man who fought to have the station reopened following it's closure back in the sixties. Today the Station is well used by commuters travelling to Inverness daily. One gentleman who was there today celebrated his 105th Birthday last week.
