Waiting for Their Cue

In Scotland we can write down the date Summer will start and can be guaranteed sun for that day and several days thereafter.  I felt heart sorry for the masses of little and not so little school children today as they headed back to school in their new uniforms so pristine and well creased. The sun shone all day, I may even go so far as to say it was the hottest day so far.

An afternoon at the festival for my girl and I.  Belly laughs with Austentacious and then a stroll into the BBC gardens to see if we could celebrity spot.  So far this festival Ellen has seen Emma Thomson and today we were rewarded with Phil Jupitus. Shallow I know, but so much fun for us extreme Northerners.

These actors were performing 'Brush' and stood anxiously in the wings awaiting their cue.
