Sweet Pea

I've come to the conclusion that I don't do very well growing sweet peas.  In hindsight it is probably because the area I planted them in gets very little direct sunlight, but these are the first blooms from planting in May!

Trying to make sense of the flower head was difficult for me, in the end isolating it and simplifying the background seemed right.  I also made a point of making sure the hairs on the stalk were in good focus.  It attracts the eye and gives me a sense of satisfaction that despite the camera being hand held, I was able to hold it steady.  I struggle to see any compromise in IQ despite the ISO of 1600.
