Tonight's sunset

Went to Bowness on Solway for tonight's sunset.  Couldn't believe what I saw in the car park!  Other cars and people with cameras taking photos of the sunset!!   Its very rare to find anybody else there.  Anyhow I walked Misty on the marsh whilst the sun was setting and could see somebody in the distance with two dogs and assumed it was my friend and her two boxers.  It was so I walked over to her.  The dogs spotted us and came bounding over to say hello.  My friend was telling me about a pregnant cow she spotted last week which got itself well and truly stuck in one of the ditches.  She alerted the farmer who came with his tractor and managed to haul the cow out.    He thanked her the next day and said the cow was fine.   Another drama with a cow in a ditch last week on a different section of the marsh, only this time the fire brigade were called to assist, apparently it had sunk quite deep into mud.

The electrician has been today and finished off his last bits in the bathroom.  He did some extras for me and I now have outside lights that work and a room thermostat, woo hoo!!  Three more days to go (or maybe four) for the work to be finished!  Can't wait.
