Elizabeth I

Met Elizabeth the first at Hampton Court today.  She was there with Lord Robert Dudley. She granted an audience to the Scottish envoy and she gave him such a hard time! He needed all his diplomatic charms to answer he questtions about who was the fairest queen, the better dancer etc.

Excelent mini plays brought history to life.  Loved the time there.

Great to be able to spend some more time with mum's sister Val, my cousin Carol and Carol's husband Jack.

Tonight we went to see the play 1984.  Very intense and disturbing!
