Rush of work all day in the office then off for my first visit to the book festival in the evening. Beautiful sunny warm day and Charlotte Square was looking great as people sat around on deckchairs chatting about books. Love this festival.
We had the James Tait Black award ceremony and it was a lovely event with great shortlist and 6 very engaging authors and other guests. Enjoyed the chat and the reception was really nicely decorated with flower arrangements in piles of books....not a great shot (rubbish lighting and photographer after a couple of glasses of prosecco!) but nice evening.
