For Clarkie

It was still shocking to receive the news we all knew was coming.  

Clarkie was such a realist as well as a true battler.  

"It's terminal" he said to me when I stayed with them for a few days over summer.  "It is what it is." 

The finality of his passing is still such a sad, sad event.  A friendly, realistic, honest, intelligent, loving, fun-loving and beautiful person has been lost to the world but will remain in our hearts forever.

Rest peacefully Clarkie.
