Another very wet day in Edinburgh. Just finished watching the football, and while not exactly a surprise that the co-hosts Poland didn't reach the quarter-finals (after all they are lower in the world rankings than Scotland), a bit of a shock that Russia are out. After all they won their first game 4-1. But the team they beat that day, the Czech Republic, went through tonight along with Greece. So. I'm sad for all my Polish friends tonight, but happy for my Czech friends.
