Safe Water in #Bangladesh
Arsenic contamination of drinking water is widespread in Bangladesh. Arsenic cannot be seen, smelled or tasted but long-term exposure causes skin lesions and serious illness, including cancer. Ultimately it can be fatal.
Our local partner in Bangladesh installs community ring wells which to protect people from arsenic poisoning. This ring well is in use in Ghorchapra village.
