Jubilee beacon

Sat on my sofa this morning, a little hungover, watching the tv about all the Jubilee celebrations. When they mentioned the lighting of the beacons I suddenly remember seeing a beacon that had been lit for a past Jubilee up our local hill. Had a google on my iPhone and found out that it would be once again lit to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee.

So we headed up to the local pub to relish in the Morris Dancers and Hog Roast before trekking up the candlelit hill to see the Beacon be lit.
