The Fly

Spent most of the day trying to get myself organised for next week so that I can enjoy a full day off tomorrow walking in the Chiltern countryside. I popped into town for a while to tick off some chores and noticed this fly sitting on the washing on my way back and could tell it was going to stay for a while so fitted my macro extension tubes and it allowed me at least a hundred shots before finally disappearing. I was really hoping to get some compound eye detail but this my first attempt so clearly much to learn still.
