Cardiff Castle

It's quite embarrassing that I have lived in Cardiff for almost 20 years and only today managed to get in to see the castle today. A lovely two hours exploring and I really was surprised to read about the long and varied history that dates from the 11th Century all the way up to WW2 with the walls of the castle being used as air raid shelters. Little Miss (who is really getting into her history) really enjoyed herself despite having visited only a couple of months ago with her school.

Now to get down to some school work :(
