How many men does it take...

... to open a gate?

About 12 including 5 firemen!

This was the gate into the rugby club Cameron was playing at today. I'm sure it wasn't complicated but it took a lot of banging, pushing and prising before eventually 1 of the coaches who is a fireman, called his mates who came with blue lights flashing to open the gate with a big crowbar. We thought it seemed over the top but apparently if you can't get an ambulance right up to the pitches you can't play.

Cameron had lots of fun at the joint training session and then playing 3 games (with the U9s as he was only U7). Then we went to Ealing to my auntie's for lunch and then to see my 14 yr old cousin play Mary Poppins in her local theatre production. She was v good and the boys both enjoyed the show too.

We left there later than planned so had to go to Nandos for tea then got stuck in traffic & got home after 9pm. Andrew fell asleep in car & so has been put to bed filthy, no teeth brushed and in his clothes!
