Llandegfedd Reservoir
I haven't done an aerial view for a while so whilst the weather holds I got this one of Llandegfedd Reservoir (also known as Llandegveth Reservoir) is a large 434 acre water supply reservoir and is eight miles north of Newport in South Wales (UK) The reservoir is very close to Pontypool.
It was opened by Newport Corporation in May 1965.The reservoir is managed by Welsh Water's leisure and conservation company – Hamdden.
There are a number of leisure activities that can be enjoyed on the reservoir such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, diving.
It is also a great place for bird spotting, migrating birds, and Merlin, Peregrine and Goshawk have been sighted.
