A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse

Well I had hoped the day would stay bright but it soon deteriorated and became a miserable day all round.

Work at a university is very strange in the summer months. Most academics and most if not all students disappear so in one sense it's a very tranquil place. It feels a little forlorn,, with empty lecture theatres apart from some international students over for summer schools, and very difficult to find the people you might want to talk to, almost everyone is on holiday!

Unless of course you work in a contract research centre and the summer is just another period. Still few more days then off to Hong Kong,
