Baby swallows

A nest inside one of the stables. I discovered that they reacted to certain sounds I make and would all pop up, mouths open, screaming to be fed, at the same time. I couldn't co-ordinate it with taking a photo though, and it's terrible quality, but the only shot I got for this day.

Umm-ed and ahh-ed about whether to post it as it's so bad, but thought I may as well in the end. I went back to see them after the weekend ( 3 days later ) and they'd gone. Hope they get strong enough for their wee journey down to Africa before they have to set off. It won't be long now. Judging by the weather this week, that's already heading off that way!
