the magnetic field
It's a shame that Lego are trying to render everyone's carefully-kept stock of their own childhood Legos useless through the issue of their fancy modern kits, full of specialised parts, all of which are relatively lightly held-together (under the pretense of making the spoils able to be moved into attack position, though not locked once there) and so relatively easily rendered asunder, and lost, and so on. As well as keeping all the wee random spare bits safe it's almost necessary to maintain a box for each item, to safely garage it and to keep its bits distinct from other similar items, alongside the instructions to allow it to be properly rebuilt in the future, should sufficient pieces be retained. Anyway, he managed to sit through the formation of two of the wings and most of the body before requesting that I complete it.
