Tilley’s treat.

Yesterday afternoon we had a trip to the Vets. Booster injection for Tilley the Springer and investigate a matted patch of hair on the back haunch of our old Collie, Holly.
It seems that Holly must have received a bite from something (could have been a dog) in two places close together on her back that are now infected. Shaved patch some 5 inches square revealed the wounds and she was prescribed antibiotics and an antibacterial swab as treatment for the next week. Additional advice given relating to a slight tooth tartar for both dogs – hide bones twice a week – so today’s blip shows Tilley benefiting as we need to ensure she does not get tartar build-up on her teeth. She took herself off up the garden out the way of the other two!
