Across the fields near Kingsbarns today as we returned to the car having sought out the path to a glorious little beach near Boarhills which I'd like to visit more often, but it's a little tricky without a sensible place to leave the car.
My brother and sister-in-law caught up with us for a late lunch over at Pittenweem in the Cocoa Tree, where sis-in-law was delighted to find gluten-free pancakes, and enjoyed her lunch very much.
Then my other brother, nephew and a friend returned from a long day in the pub waiting for the Open Golf to start, to join us for a barbecue. High winds had prevented golf all day, until around 6pm, so I was glad we'd opted to stay in the East Neuk.
