Paul working hard on paintwork.
It was a lovely blue sky warm morning.
Paul and me spent over two hours on the task of scrapping the very old flaking paintwork around the front door.
He put on an audio Hitchhikers Guide story for us to listen to.
Tiffany rolled in the sunshine and made friends with a tabby cat.
A sweet Siamese sat beside Paul, fascinated by his activity!
I then went to dead head the pink and yellow roses, before returning home to make cheese on toast for Paul and Marmite on toast for me.
We are stuck in a space and time continuum of cleaning, priming and eventually painting.
The longing to be back in the Lake District is ever present.
I miss all the beauty and lovely views.
