TT12MM - The Great Reveal

Thank you to everyone who had a go at my Mystery Macro entry.

The object, shown today in full, is one of a hundred million ceramic sunflower seeds created by the Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei.

(There was a clue in yesterday's title)

These seeds were created in China and The Tate Gallery bought a total of 150 tons of them for display.

At first members of the public were allowed to walk on them but later it was thought that the ceramic dust might be harmful.

This example was either stuck in a shoe or "taken as a souvenir" and then lost in Dorset where I found it.
