Took dad for a sight test this morning, and it looks like he is ready for at least the one cataract to be dealt with.

Came home and had a walk along the beach, so sat on a bench and watched the sea for a while before calling my cousin to see how she's doing as she lost her husband at the end of June. This family were on one of the benches close to the beach.

Went out with a good friend tonight for a good catch up. Had a lovely meal at the Proper Gander in Tywyn - pear and Stilton pate, lamb adobe (cooked in a Patagonian style) and Eton Mess. Totally gorgeous.

The road home was closed due to a bad accident so had to take the long way - 1.5 hours instead of 20 minutes. Looks like one person was very badly hurt in the crash, but I do hope they will make a full recovery.
