Butterfly, Up Close and Personal

I had one last opportunity today to use this wonderful macro lens before I shipped it back to rentallens.com.  It did not disappoint.  

It turns out that my macro yesterday wasn’t much of a mystery.  Although I thought I had disguised it well, nearly everyone got it right. See my ear of corn in the extras.  

Thanks to everyone who participated in the challenge.  I will post my favorites with tomorrow’s blip along with my favorites of the regular Tiny Tuesday entries.  I am not sure the word got out to everyone about the mystery macro, so there were still lots of insects and flowers that are quite extraordinary, and should be seen by all. 

Next week will be my last week as host for TinyTuesday.  We are still looking for a host for September, either the whole month or part of it.   Please let me know by email or in a comment  if you would be interested in doing this.  It really is quite fun and it would be a shame to see the challenge fade away because there is no host.  Wouldn’t it be great if we could line up hosts for the next couple of months to assure continuation?
