still life (with hen)

A rearranged day saw Em and me heading out to the old timey working farm at Bouth. We explored the barns and outhouses filled with deliciously dilapidated equipment, enjoyed the breeze on the gallery of the hayloft, groomed two ponies - one dwarf, one mini and a donkey, fed calves, climbed the bales in the 'hay ground' to take the rope swing. I do declare we are still pulling straw from our hair.
