Australian Ezzys

Heather and Alf live in Australia, but are here visiting their son and family for our Summer. My Mum's brother married an Australian wife and Alf, a now retired cattle farmer, is her brother.

When I was travelling around Australia 30 years ago, I stayed in Millmerran at the family run farm for a while, an amazing outback experience for a young English girl and one I will never forget.

Since their son ended up marrying one of my best friends, every few years I get the chance to have a quick catch up in the UK.

It was lovely to see them today, as well as Jo and Helen, though the time always goes too fast.
